Bit of an odd way to introduce yourself xD Hi again sharp, welcome to the forums mate.

1. DID YOU HAVE FUN? Admittedly yes. Loved being in a tourney for once. 2. What was the most enjoyable and worst part about the entire mash? Most enjoyable: Trying so hard to carry XD Worst part: Having no mentors show up then ploughing through 5-7 subs non stop, finding out what games and servers to play in while being thoroughly confused and attempting to keep up morale in the team. 3. What did you learn from our mentors? ;-; 4. Do you think you improved as a player today? I practiced by playing in Australian out at 300 ping, so this was exciting I think I did slightly better xDDD 5. What did you like / dislike about your team? Liked Dhiva for being an ace scout partner and being serious when I needed it most Disliked tormented for not speaking or comming + ineffective off classing without team notification then leaving without a sub :/ Though apologies for being annoyed in the viaduct match you must've been tired. 6. How can the mash format be improved? Face the reality that this was a LAN event minus being at one central location since it was a marathon, while I understand there isn't enough staff to go around. More "supervisors" are needed IMO. 7. Any vets/newbs that you’d like to shoutout to? If you're using the exploit I think you are using (cl_crosshair_file something in your materials folder), take note that that exploit only works if you don't change crosshairs in a sv_pure 2 server. It can work technically if you load it in a non sv_pure server before hand then never change it throughout the game. But colours, sizes etc will be fine. Consider combining that exploit with hudachievementtracker.res or putting it in your hudlayout.res instead for no sv_pure checks. However if you're just using a downloaded xhair that isn't using said exploit and replaces the tf2's default crosshairs that won't work in any sv_pure 2 server Edit: This also should be in the tf2 resources section

I'd mainly do empty base cfgs for people and maybe a HUD or 2 XD I can't imagine why we'd need more space then 25 by default though

I agree with omega on the 1st point A, I enjoy off classing whenever I get the chance in pugs. I think I have improved and without the chances I had to practice my alternate classes I wouldn't be half as efficient as I sometimes am of late. I never had to walk the tight rope of admins telling me not to off class for some reason, but I hear it again and again from newer players pinging me on steam. Outside of the game's meta if people feel that off classing will get them in trouble I think there's something severely wrong with that aspect. I recently played a pug with a new one that shall remain unnamed, he loved to off class but was not effective. We had 3 down and enemy pushed with a full team he wanted to off class on gran last. I answered "please don't play sniper now it's not the right time" To this young one he replied something quite interesting for me: "Why? o.o Explain please" I'm not sure if he heard my answer as he didn't use voice after that, but he did not play sniper. Some people want to improve, I surely was and still am one of them. In the same way we talk about airplanes: b ) I am hoping that the situation in question was a one time thing from just one player. Because those are the lines that are destructive in someone's attempt to try something. I may not have had that happen to me , but sure as hell that's off. How we can improve it I'm not perfectly sure from the top of my head. But I think those that ask and are willing to improve definitely will try
