shotz 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2010 is there any protocol when joining? As the aus pug system is run by an irc botJust putting it here for those who didnt see if and are really fkn bored. yes frag vids dont showcase skill, in fact i miss about 95% of the time, that 5 % is captured in the vid
Ratsyc 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2010 Nope, just connect to the server. - Join the specs if they have started playing. - 2 players will start off in a melee match to see who will pick their players first. - New players/players who have not played would usually be pick first on the next map. - If you have any questions on regards to the pug, you can ask around, I'm sure the players will help you out. shotz 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2010 hmm... no chat group to join?? thx anyhow, will try that soon
Ratsyc 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2010 Sadly, that no common steam group to join as the servers belongs to 3 different groups (Starhub, e-Club, AFL). Hence we are trying to promote mIRC as a common platform instead. For now, you could add the frequent pug players as friend, in turn, they'll notify you when there's a pug. Btw, the Steam option in the profile management is for steam community ID, not Steam ID.
