Summer 180 Report post Posted February 11, 2011 Definitely interested but i need to form up a team Like Mr kushh said why not make it a LAN?
Ratsyc 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2011 Wouldn't a LAN based competition reduced the player size based on the current population, also that would requires more cost, manpower and planning for the organizer(s). The main concern currently is mainly the number of teams participating. Maybe when there's enough player/team based in the local community, a LAN competition maybe possible, of course, that would mean better prizes too.
Summer 180 Report post Posted February 11, 2011 That's true, i'll spread this compey to as many people as possible... If there were enough teams, when would this take place?
Acel 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2011 Is this going to be an elimination or league format..?
Ratsyc 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 Most probably be using the single/double elimination format. I think a short and fast format is better since dragging it out causes alot of problems. The organizer(s) feels that if there's enough teams interested to join the event, in the month of May would probably the fastest time whereby the event can take place. Ratsyc 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2011 Seeing the number of interested teams "signing up", i would say no. But the final decision does not lies with me, so, we shall see.
Summer 180 Report post Posted February 19, 2011 But since it's an online tournament, why not allow entrants from outside SEA?

Haruhi 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2011 It's online uh. LAN parties would be so much more fun :/
yuko 46 Report post Posted February 20, 2011 hmms.. if we could get a decent SG/MY online tourney with cash prizes running with enough teams signing up, i dont see LAN being impossible in the near future =] just need more teams... edit: stable teams
Ratsyc 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2011 The main idea behind this particular tournament is to generate more interest among the local players on regards to the competitive side of the game, hoping the community will grow with the help of such competitions. PS: A LAN server is much easier to handle as to compared to a online server
Acel 0 Report post Posted February 20, 2011 How many teams would be interested to join an online 6v6 TF2 competition with a sign up fee of $2/player. (6 per team) The top 3 teams would win cash prizes of $100' date=' $60 & $40 respectively. An estimation of 8 teams is required in order to get this party going. [/quote'] I just realised something.... Assuming 6 a team, $12 per team with a estimation of only 8 teams... A collection of $96 and there's a $200 total payout as prizes..?
