Hey there all, I'm representing Spotgamers.com, and we're very VERY excited about doing some coverage about the league, as I've already informed Spammah. Problem is, we're a little understaffed due to exam periods and such, and also a lack of TF2 educated writers. As for me, I used to live and breathe TF2, but I'm not as free as I'd like to be to check out the matches, especially on weekdays >,< What I'm hoping is that some of you might be able to help me out by watching the matches, and writing out a short review, just about 1/2 to 3/4 a page would do. If EVERY match played could be reviewed, that would be awesome, of course. If you guys can do this, I'll be on the other end and post it up on our site, with credit to you, of course. Looking forward to working with y'all, as my goal in this is to give TF2 the proper coverage in our region that it deserves.

Hey all, I've got a small problem when I try to watch the demos of the games. I can't seem to mouselook when i can move with WASD, and I can't seem to move with WASD when I can mouselook via the drive option. what am I doing wrong?

haha, we almost thought it was too long at that point. maybe you guys can send in your questions or something and we can torture him longer next time

hole in one, spammah if its all good with y'all, i'll be posting that interview up later in the week.
-
so far i only tried 2 files, i think the only demo's that were available from week 1. i haven't tried watching demos in quite some time, so these are the only ones i've tried so far.

when i saw this thread i was like "hurrah, i can use this stuff without needing to interview the team!". then i realized i would need to do some censoring. crap.

instead of using tracert to get the hops and basic latency (which also only gives you 3 readings per host), you type in the server address (with or without the port i'm not 100% sure, but generally without is fine) and press start. it will start to send packets and pickup the latency and packet loss. you can having it running for as short or as long as you want. once you're done, you can save the data in txt or html, and then send it to others for analysis. Good stuff for getting the average and also burst rate of your latency to any server.

Mo of Dustfever and myself are running the operation.

Hey there. Are you sick of srs bizniz? Do you feel like unwinding, and trolling people in game? Have we got a solution for you! PROP - HUNT! What is Prop Hunt? - Its a server-side mod similar to HideNSeek for CounterStrike. In TF2, red becomes the props, and blu are the hunters that have to find them. Simple concept but lots of fun. How do you join in? Just head on over to our server at p.dustfever.com:27017 All you need is your TF2, and yourself Hope to see ya'll there. PS: forgive me for the shameless advertising

i'm kinda registering for the fun of it, so considering i already know about competitive tf2, feel free to skip me for a real "no competitive experience at all" pubber. I have played competitively, but that was at least a year ago (not to mention I'm on the lower side of the skill tree ), haven't touched TF2 much except in the last couple of weeks.
