AsiaFortress League Season 3 Division 2 Team Previews By Wish and nnnta: Xtremely Generic Name - Singapore, India Cobalt, Haruhi, Bigfoot, Splink, Emir, Ruin, Immunity, Generalissimo, Venge This team has been around for a while although they don't seem very active. Success for this team will be on the shoulders of Haruhi and Immunity and how well they can pull everyone together. They’ve played the previous season so their experience will carry over and hopefully rape some ass. Predicted strengths: Strong in certain maps, experienced. Very smart because they’re in Raffles Institution. Predicted weaknesses: : Poor coordination. Conflicted names with my clan (WUTPSWSOTI - WHY USE THE PLUS SIGN WHEN SEARCHING ON THE INTERNET) as this clan is also known as the plus sign clan. Association Burning Hawks - Korea, HongKong, Taiwan Carry, Fiction, rK, Necco, Dolphan, Nin, Load, Bereujandeu, HgRy, Rua, hEdy New Korean team to Asiafortress! These guys hail from the Korean pug scene and have since been bugged to join us in season 3 I have no idea how they will perform in their debut season but I'm sure their pug experience and the occasional scrim will help this team win a few games against the other new teams in division 2. 50/50 chance they soar high or burn out. Predicted strengths: Might be the right mix of styles, Relatively unknown to the rest of the teams. Predicted weaknesses: Communication and play-style conflicts. Games Have Our Heart Thriven(GHOST) - Malaysia Jopperstaluf, kidkid, warpigs, SoapFido, juggslover, bAbA, Joker The Malaysians have finally fielded another team, this time with unknown players. Hopefully they will become a long lasting part of the community. With only 7 players in their roster it will be difficult for them not to drop games due to a lack of players, either that or they must be really well organized or free. Predicted strengths: Unknown team = unknown strategies. People will be wondering what their team name really means. Predicted weaknesses: Might have roster problems in the middle of tournament. This Chinese team has shown us very noticeable improvements from the start of AFL2 till the end. Picking up a surprise public player with alot of potential naTTan (airshot my love) and an up and coming scout pair traveller and JackJsn, Swt looks set to pretty up Division 2 this season. A mystery why their tag is effing “syck.” instead of “swt.” Predicted strengths: Demo and scout play. Pretty girl mascot = morale up as long as they isn’t emo. Psycho Paradigm Penetrate - Korea PLAYBOY, MINGKI, KASHYA, MADAM, #M, D2, SKY, NOTHIN’ LEFT TO SAY Despite their team name having a lot of potential to be made fun of, rumour has it that they’re not a team to be trifled with. A dark horse in this tournament as well, rumoured to be stronger than one of the strong teams in the previous season, pNoid. PSYCHO PENETRATE. Predicted strengths: Just a strong team. Dark horses of division 2 with old school players, this team will be interesting to watch as they crash course modern tf2 competition. Predicted strengths: Strong individuals Predicted weaknesses: Might be playing drunk Team TMW - China HongKong XQ* rrraptor lele Justin MyWorld doitlive Shandy Xavier They maybe a new team in AFL but these players have been around for a long while. A few of these players have been seen playing around some time ago but they mysteriously disappeared until recently. Were they training in some obscure country, where everything is powered by spammah’s fresh camel’s milk? We shall see. Predicted strengths: Experienced players, camel’s milk = 300% airshots. Predicted weaknesses: Not enough exposure, the milk becomes stale.

dF wins cp_gullywash 2 - 1 chs wins cp_well 5 - 1 cp_gullywash this game was not as close as it seems. df started out well on gullywash mid constantly putting pressure and isolating chs's flanking forces. Js and rex were a dominant force with Js racking up 4 dominations early in the game as demoman. rex constantly pressured the combo and occasionally got the ever crucial medic pick. that plus connection, df's new pickup from afl2's pnoid gave a constant performance allowing df to go 2 rounds up before mid game. geeun dropped uber chs showed their resilience however and dragged the game and punished df as rex went offclass. pushing back and forth across the map chs finally landed a point with asatine ninja capping as soldier. but the point came too late as with only a minute left and df turtling with an engy, chs did not have time to force the draw cp_well chs brought on japanese superstar scout row to replace nasty who had high ping. the effect was immediate as chs took a quick 1st round within 3 minutes of play. df took mid the 2nd round with strong heavy medic play by dol and geeun but couldnt hold on to it as chs came rallying back and took another point. valent got trained chs almost took the 3rd point with a straight roll but were stopped by doL's heavy at the last point with a 5 kills. df finally woke up and attempted to take mid but were quickly put back to sleep as they overstretched their forces infront of astatine, chs's heavy. clearly df were lacking a decent sniper. their inability to quickly take down the heavy has cost them too many capture points. (where is fitz?) df finally gets a point with a slow and steady push. row with 3 dominations now. df's weakened team compared to last season is really showing now. 4 - 1 to chs. conclusion chs gets their draw by winning cp_well 5 - 1 after dropping cp_gullywash 1 - 2. the row effect tore df's understrength team apart. with js and rex unable to carry on cp_well, df will have alot of thinking to do. after asking geeun: it appears df's lost was due to a lack of experience and geeuns mistakes on cp_well. a lack of coordination on this seemingly "new" map to them had really cost them. cp_well ain't polular in korea. geeun says sorry to dol for the late uber. spammah : "Our team's heavy forces atm have major teamwork + coordination issues, especially from our soldiers. Whether we can fix this + a few other problems depends on our players' commitments + dedication. In any case, we had fun with some funny friendly trashtalk going back and forth. Hopefully we can perform better in our next game!"

each national team can have a max of 2 or 3 members from the same afl3 team. for singapore its 2 because we have more players in afl3 than say malaysia
