Hey all! My name is Zev or 'tokyo' on the internet. I live in Hong Kong, i'm 14 and my nationality half German half American. I've been playing tf2 for 1 and 1/2 to 2 years now and have finally built up the courage and commitment to create a UGC team. I understand that i'm probably in the lower eschalon of skill within the UGC Asia community but i'm didn't join to beat everyone. The teammates i'm looking for/want to recruit or people who want to have fun and do their best whilst having some good times. Classes Needed Scout: meep (Backup availible) Sniper: Tokyo (Backup availible) Medic: psy (Until he finds a job) (Backup availible) If you want to play medic still add me because he might not be able to play to a certain point. Spy: butt (Backup availible) Demoman: surf (Need backup) Soldier: Shizuka (Need backup) Pyro: cxc (Need backup) Heavy: MPARROTG (Need backup) Engineer: elnathanking (Need backup) REGARDING BACKUPS: Pretty much most people can backup as any class. If you don't have the time commitment to play on the full roster then feel free to join as a backup. Playing Times: You should be able to play around 7-8pm at night or earlier on weekends. Your time schedule should be pretty open, i'm not expecting you to be able to play all the time but we need to able to cater to both teams needs in scrims and official matches. I live in UTC +8 Hong Kong Timezone Langauge: English will be the main comms on the team. If you're fluent, thats great. Add me if you're not confident with your english skills and we'll have a conversation on mumble to see if we can comm properly Preferred Skill Level: We are going to be playing in UGC HL Asia league. I'm really not expecting really great players on the team but you are going to have to show a reasonable amount of experience and knowledge in TF2 wheter it be pugs, lobbies etc. If you are new to leauge play this teams is for you! Thanks for the valuable input, this actually really helped! I'm making this team with a bunch of friends but I don't really have enough for a whole team. Do people from singapore tend to do 6s or HL more? I think i'll be able to find people who speak english or at least enough. Am I truly doomed language wise? I have a bit of a worry I was watching a UGC video on how to create a team etc and it says you need a server to use on the day of your match. Obviously I don't host my own server so where do I find these. I also need to STVs which I heard are easy to get from asia fortress if you use their servers. Where can I find/make a booking for the servers provided for people? Caldoran says their easy to get and i'm all worried. Thanks

Does anybody know anything about the asia UGC league? I'm particularly more interested in HL at the moment. If somebody could give some info if thats dead or not would be appreciated. Edit: I've added some people who have played in the asian division for questions.

Hey, i'm a guy in Hong Kong interested in getting into Asian Highlander. I'm a talented sniper who learns well and is always willing to learn more. 1.) Does asia fortress host a highlander league 2.) When can I find pugs in progress? I see HL pug servers from asia fortress but nobodys on. 3.) Is the asian UGC league active? I'm interested in playing highlander there but when I look at the LFT forum there is only 3 threads with hardly any replies. Where can I find a place to join a asian UGC league? Hopefully you can help me so that I can expand the asian comp scene in TF2. I really was looking for something like this to ask questions on. Regards, tokyo
