If they remain undiscussed, unpopular views will always remain unpopular and nothing will change for the better. Negative feedback would show the many reasons as to why that view is unpopular or disliked by them, whether for personal reasons or etc. Positive feedback would show why the view is okay to them and their own reasons for that. The second pt is just awesome haha. Not sure if it lets you see both the ammo in clip and ammo in reserve for the launchers.

I just came back to playing tf2 yesterday and was looking forward to some pugs after so many months. I got chosen in the first map but i wasnt chosen in the second map. Most of the time it would've have been fine by me as I'm not a good player, just an average or below average player. If i were the medics, I wouldn't choose myself either unless I have to. The second map had just 12 people in the pug and we then rolled to spec. Then 2 people (not saying who, don't want to target anyone) came in after the rolling and got picked. One of them typed !join and got into freepick while the other spammed !replace non-stop till he go picked. Me and another guy quit the server when this happened. I know players like me won't get chosen most of the time unless we're +1 ( However, I still remember two medics skipping their picks because it was just me left in the +1. Made me sad. But whatever )but I really wanted to play as I was playing with friends and waited for 10+ mins for enough players to gather in the first. I might be in the wrong but this is just an honest opinion. Im sorry if i offended anyone but I just had to say this. Im just really depressed.

Like what misfit and bio had said before,it all boils down to the people of this community, whether we want to be kind-hearted people that help each other improve or all-out bad guys (and girls) that don't give a shit other than the number of headshots they get. This is one problem that will never have a perfect please-all solution because there will always be that one bad guy or disagreement. TF2 might just be a game but that doesn't mean real-world etiquette doesn't need to be applied in a game.

Also, your huds will be broken so remember to update them. The targetid got updated for the medic to see the patient's clip status and the new hudspellmenu in hudlayout. Post here if you need help about the hud stuff.

The way you put across your points is intimidating but honest. scary. I think ultimately, offclassing is up to the team's discretion. If they're ok with it, fine. If they're not, just tell the guy nicely to go back to their original class once they can as their offclass isn't helping much. It's also up to the offclasser's goodwill and attitude to inform their team of their offclassing and to switch back to their original class if not contributing much. If the offclasser wishes to practice their utility extensively e.g sniper during, maybe it would be greatly appreciated if he/she inform the team first before doing so.

Basically everyone is retarded. Anyway,this is just my opinion. I haven't put in as much hours into this game as most of you have but I I think the main issue of trying to work with an off-classer in your team in pugs is that they forgot that as an offclass, they're still suppose to contribute to the team . Snipers and spies are ideally to get key picks such as demo or medic that could help greatly in pushes or stalemates, not just trying to heashot every single person that you can see or backstab that scout because he was the closes to you when their medic is just 5m away. If their mindset is just to headshot anything as long as its a headshot, then it wouldnt help the team greatly (unless you are able to headshot 5 people in a row and then cap last as sniper) Also, the lack of communication also makes playing with an offclass in the team harder sometimes. Even if the blue sniper got a key pick, it would be useless if the rest of blue team is playing far back due to uber disadvantage or 1 man down (especially as demo or medic) and were not able to play off the pick as they were too far away. You don't expect to just suicide in without any reason only to come back as sniper when your team actually needed you on scout or roamer because no one said shit about what to do or what's the game plan. tl:dr If offclass, contribute to the team as they depend on you for making plays. Communication is key to teamwork which is vital in playing around an offclass.

I've been messing around with making huds and mainmenus etc. I could include the asiafortress logo somewhere on the main menu.Maybe even a subtle link to this website. Might not help alot but its worth a shot. .

Haha yea. I get to shoot rockets that blow people up into chunks of flesh i. I get to play with great players. I get to play with even greater friends. Monetary rewards doesnt matter if you love playing this game because its just fun.

is there anyone that organises 6s mixes every so often? Pugs are fun and all but I prefer to have team comms while playing. Like today in my second pug I played pocket in granary together with ppl like badz and teal that communicated verbally in the team. Although someone didnt listen to the sticky trap above the point that i called out... haha whatever. And no, Im not lazy to organise a mix myself. Just that I'm pretty much unknown and have limited friends in 6s so its hard to create a good-quality mix. Would be great to play in a mix with higher level players that could help me improve. (: Just asking. And no, I'm not talking about offclassing.

the points thing might also give them the mentality that more points = better dm, which to a certain extent is true but most of the time applies to 1 v 1 cases. (lol 1 v 1 spire airshots hahaha) since mge is just 1 v 1 on certain parts of the map ( badlands spire, mid etc). So instead of actually training, they just want more points by winning through whatever means. sorry for the jumbled up points. tired as shit.
