Helloooooo. So if most of you have been in the dark, this MASH event was a bit too rushed and ill prepared. So I have to admit my failures. I've trashed the old post and decided to now: Delay the MASH event to next weekend, Saturday 21st of December. Timed to start at 1:30 PM. Follow the instructions listed here to confirm you want to play. If you've signed up before, I'm sorry for the hassle but please re-confirm your availability to participate. Sign-ups will end next Wednesday the 18th of December. Sorry to everyone, but I promise the next MASH will only get better. Thanks for understanding! For those who are not sure, the AF MASH is basically where we will all be randomly assigned into teams and play together for a weekend against other teams with random players! The first day will be a Round Robin where you play versus every other team, and the top 4 will be in a playoffs the following Sunday. Details are going to be revealed tomorrow night, so check back! The event is decided to be held on this weekend, and a point based system will be used. GLHF everyone! 2. New Whitelist We've finalized the changes to the whitelist and throughout this week you should start noticing the addition of the Black Box, Winger and Overdose. Start experimenting with these new weapons and give us some feedback either via the forums or steam. If there are any bugs, please post it on the forums with as much information as you have. 3. New Maps Discussion has started about the possible addition of new maps, along with updating maps with newer revisions. Have a suggestion about what maps we should try out? I asked AS about the servers they used for the bronze match. Apparently they used LYN for two of the maps and AFHK for one. AFHK we can definitely recover the demo for that but I have no idea whether or not LYN records stvs. Saki don't you have contact with them?

yeah i agree. But I don't want to start a massive debate, it was just my opinion on how uncreative valve decided to buff pyro. I don't honestly mind it that much because it's not used that often and it'll be nice to see sick clutch crit flares to save last. It's just that it seems the entire idea behind the pyro itself - closed range specialist is flawed in the first place and it's hard to fix it.

Don't you think it's pretty silly that the pyro is gifted crits though? Like even mini-crits would be okay, but I feel the pyro's crit happy weapons are badly balanced. iirc it does 90 dmg on crit. Sounds pretty unfair imo. other than the sniper rifle this flare gun can do more damage than other weapons at range. This is just my opinion though, and Winger still seems more fun to play with. I personally have a hope that the asian scene can make one of these 'weird' unlocks one of our own. Maybe one of us will find some crazy game changing tactic with the winger. who knows???? You should think about how Winger would affect taking positions on mids, and how teams can work around that.

OH SHIIIIIIIIT WE GOT A REBEL BADDYZ VOTED FOR WEEKEND STOMPFEST BUT THE POINTS BATTLE WALIEW THIS INTENSE SIA

Hey Potatoes! Some people have suggested to organize the competition like a ladder, some say do it like AFC, I think best way is to just settle via a vote. Here are the options: TIME: WEEKEND STOMPFEST We play all the matches in two days. Leaves more time to visit Santa and it's way more intense. Match after match of potatoes!! Server and mumble isn't an issue, we've sorted it out. The spectating would be difficult for those within the competition in the first day though because everyone would be playing around the same time. TACTICAL LONG-TERM WAR OF ATTRITION We food fight once a week and we take it slow and EZ. Like AFC. TOURNAMENT STYLE: DOUBLE ELIMINATION EVERYONE PLAYS [X] MATCHES AND TEAMS WITH MOST POINTS BATTLE I personally think the weekend stompfest + double elimination combo meal would be the tastiest but it's up to you guys! :DDD

I've established that it's going to happen within the timeframe of around a month, so I think it's covered. But THANKS FOR THE INPUT DEAR ADMIN BRETHREN.
