  2. Logitech G500s Laser Gaming Mouse

logitech_g500s_gaming_mouse_1-100041836-large.pngLOGITECHThe Logitech G500s Laser Gaming Mouse is incredibly comfortable.

The Logitech G500s Laser Gaming Mouse finished in a dead heat with the Roccat Kone XTD as our favorite mouse in this roundup. Its greatest strength is its sheer comfort: Built for right-handed users, it feels like a big jellybean sliced in half, and the palm grip feels as natural as a glove.

The Logitech G500s is more than just a big, oval puck, though. The tension on the left and right buttons is perfect, making clicking a light task for the fingers, yet minimizing accidental clicks. The surface is smooth, with textured sides where the thumb and pinkie rest, for a nice, satisfying grip. You can toggle the tilting wheel (a rarity among gaming mice, and a feature that accommodates two extra programmable buttons) to tick with each fraction of a turn (as most wheels do) or to rotate smoothly. Two buttons toward the upper left end of the mouse let you easily control up to five dpi sensitivity levels. logitech_g500s_interface2-100041805-large.pngJOEL DURHAM JR.You can control up to five dpi sensitivity levels easily.

The mouse is super-responsive, with an 8200-dpi maximum sensitivity and a 1000Hz polling rate. It comes with various weights, as many Logitech gaming mice do, so you can tweak the overall feel of the mouse right down to its mass.

The biggest downside of the G500s is that its three thumb buttons are clumped together in one rectangular area and are somewhat difficult to differentiate. To get the most out of the programmable buttons, you need to have a particularly sensitive thumb.

    Pros

    • Fantastic comfort and responsiveness
    • Side-tilting scroll wheel is intuitive for programming
    • Five-state dpi switching for any situation

    Cons

    • Buttons are too small and clumped together
    • Interface isn't as powerful or option-filled as those of the competition

    Bottom line:

This is now one of our favorite gaming mice. It's comfortable to hold, deadly accurate, and supremely programmable.

    Rating: 4.5 stars

  3. i think to sum up your suggestion i would go back to "have the balls to speak up"

There is a lot of difference when both teams are offclassing and having a bit of fun, as opposed to 11 people playing seriously and one guy fooling around.

In the first situation no one complains, in the second people complain.

  4. @caldoran

to prove that i too am neutral

you goon of a admin mm who knows nothing about paintball or other worldly pleasures. I do not think our rules are too unspecific or vulnerable.

Lets take one sensitive rule in particular into consideration. When penalizing unnecessary offclassing I have always been an advocate of the " if someone complains please stop " rule. The problem with this rule is not that old players get preferential treatment, its that no one dares to speak up against old players. Like you yourself have stated MM, if someone complains of the offclassing of another in front of me I would not hesitate to warn them no matter who the perpetrator might be. In fact I have been involved in many such cases and have made many enemies because of my outstanding morals ( THE XILVER SAGA ).

=From here onward the involvement of MM ends=

Here lies the crux of the issue. No one dares to speak out against Brandon for example but everyone dares to scold qjyap. So if you are unhappy about some players receiving special treatment then BE A MAN ABOUT IT AND SPEAK UP. Don't hide like a coward and complain about the system when you do not dare to speak up and name names.

  5. There is crime in Singapore.

Policemen kill indiscriminately and are biased towards their friends and reputable members in the community.

Solution: Take away their power to kill by their own discretion, criminals can only be brought to justice by community votes and/or by the judgment of the Judge (head admins).

The policemen are not removed. They just have the ability to kill by their own discretion and standards removed.

I shall use actual players in this example to make things more realistic and heart wrenching.

Young pretty girl Misfit in the prime of her life is walking down Orchard Road.

TALL gangster thug Brandon/Yuko decides rob her.

Misfit refuses to release her PRADA handbag that her boyfriend Benny bought her.

Brandon/Yuko proceeds to repeatedly hit her over the head with a handy samurai sword he found next to his left foot.

Policeman walks pasts, shrugs at misfit and says

"sorry i would shoot him and save you but i am no longer allowed to kill at my own discretion. Let me gather 8 members of the community and we shall vote on if I can shoot him. If you are alive by the time I get back everything will be fine".

    End of story

  6. Okay, so are you claiming that players who offclass to mid are merely trying out new strats?

Is it up to the admins, then, who at their own discretion determine what is blatant trolling/griefing?

    Two things.

First, the blatant trolls in question do NOT get warned whatsoever and can go on for rounds on end never ever joining a cookie cutter class.

    Why?

    "nobody's complaining"

Second, what is the point of trying out "new metagame strats" if it's a roll?

Win even faster = viable, not win 5-0 = not viable?

I'm not claiming ALL admins are power-hungry money-stealing bullies.

I'm saying giving them their powers back will greatly compound the double standards rampant on the topic of off-classing and "trolling".

P.S. Video link was in response to russkan's claim no "HALF-DECENT" team will fall for a forward spawn strat.

Please refer to my well thought out Analogy. It is insightful and just slightly titillating
