AsiaFortress Cup 18: Mercenary Rule Changes

The AsiaFortress Administrators would like to notify everyone of a rule change. Specifically Rule 4b, regarding mercenaries:

• Mercenaries may be chosen without the consent of the other team if they are registered in a team participating in a lower division.

We have received feedback that this clause written leaves room for it to be utilised in an unintended manner. Therefore, in an effort to police mercenaries employed through this method, we ask that competitors seek administrative approval for mercenaries from lower divisions.

Rule Change under Rule 4b

• Mercenaries may be chosen without the consent of the other team if they are registered in a team participating in a lower division. This must be accompanied with the approval of any Division Manager.

We hope that this change reaffirms our stance on mercenaries in play for teams in the AsiaFortress Cup, and promotes fairer, integral play amongst teams.
