    OKOK TIME TO STOP LURKING ;__; I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE IF YOU THINK IM TALKING OUT OF MY ASS OR WRONG THREAD OR BEING A SHIT LORD

     

    SINCE MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE SHARING THEIR VIEWS ON THINGS I SHARE MINE ALSO OK be gentle it's my first time

     

    freyja/mykonos/shadowplay here i do my best to add my thoughts and 2 cents on this ok cause i honestly like the community and love the game (i still get scolded quite abit but thats ok i wanna improve) so here i go:

     

    I started TF2 when it went F2P, got invited into a pug by adel cause he is real life friend of a friend, got shit on and scolded but its ok cause I DIDNT KNOW SHIT.

     

    So what did i do?

    I fucking like watched a shitload tf2 competitive videos, sat in as many scrims as i could whenever allstars and scrts were playing.

     

    Create a server and just jumped around maps as scout or a soldier, walked backwards in maps to attempt memorizing them etc etc scout jumps hiding spots etc etc download tr_rocketshooting play abit of mge etc etc

     

    IM STILL SHIT, but less shit lor, cause i didnt get raged at or votekicked or hated by niggers or made a fool and laughing stock or feel depressed cause i bottom score.

     

    Then along with famous crimson firebird (i love the dude really <333) we made a team and scrim-ed and it was fun times cause got spammah, qjyap, summer guiding us by sitting in our mumble and giving us tips and advice throughout our games.

     

    And then, cuteman, fuzz and lonatic who sat in and played for us (ableit raging cause we were fucking horrible), constantly gave advice, steam messaged us after scrims and sometimes mumble. Fuzz even reviewed our scrims through demos which was really sweet and sexy of him.

     

    ^ tadah, thats why i appreciate and kinda homosexually love the community. These people are good people so i add them on steam so i can remember their penises.

     

    BUUUUUUUT

     

    During one of those sessions where they sat in our scrim...

     

    My pocket solly missed 4 rockets and all his shotgun shots on a SINGLE SCOUT before getting humiliated by said scout

     

    Laughter ensured, lots and lots of laughter, teasing, noob calling.

     

    My pocket got pretty affected or like we put it in our terms: "Wah that made me fucking sot sia."

     

     

    I talked to him/her later but the damage was done.

     

    -> but like that also angry ah, siao!!

     

    I get that point but I think i writing too much already so what im trying to put across is that:

     

    Sometimes getting teased or laughed at might all be in good fun but different people have different thresholds lor.

     

    Do your best to be nice lor.

     

    Knowing when to use positive reinforcement and when to fuck their shit up (be harsher) is key in my humble humble opinion.

     

    MOVING ON

     

    Then we have our day to day PUGS, i will do my best to sum them up so:

     

    - SOME VETERANS/PLAYERS ARE REALLY NICE

     

    They comm, verbally joke around, do calculated stupid things at times which lightens up the pug mood and gives us something to laugh about.

     

    AND AT THE SAME TIME THEY GIVE TIPS: "rollout here cause they rollout from there so we counter fuck their shit" "dude take crates man can see things better" "eh we got uber/player advantage so we get buff and rape ok?" "eh stay further back this postition lousy" "heal niggers in battle la walao heals on me plz"

     

    "eh dude you arent ready for pugs yet" THEN ADDS THEM AND TALK TO THEM SIA LA

     

    which is pretty good stuff even though they have to keep on reminding, good on them i want to meet yall irl and hi-5 yall serious (next time football i try join yall ^^)

     

     

    - SOME PEOPLE AREN'T VERY NICE/ARE MEANIES

     

    They insult your mother, ask you uninstall, ask you gtfo go back to pubs, always complain when they die then scold like macham they follow SOP like that.

     

    But hey guys, hey, do your best to be nice :')

     

    I understand how people were not spoon feeded last time, youtube was noob and ultimately you guys had it worst.

     

    So, maybe try being nice and helpful, point out mistakes, but if they try stepping over your head or just being straight up obnoxious then you give them your mandingo penis and get into their anus (thrash talking abit can la just note that some people aren't that mentally strong when verbally attacked)

     

    What makes me damn sian is when our med doesnt know how to play pug/little experience/new/idkhowthesepeoplegethere, then suay suay some player will go like "our med doesn't know how to play lol gg end us ok brb i go play pyro/sniper/spy until game end im swagmaestro"

     

    - Offclassing

     

    Makes me :( in real life sometimes when i see people offclass to mid even when we getting rape but I really don't have any constructive opinions so i stfu

     

     

    Ok so just some thoughts to end it uppppp:

     

    BE NICE and stay true.

     

    I know it might be penis scratchingly frustrating when people do or say weird/funny things in pugs or are just being plain up cunts but tahan ok be nice to everybody, if they not nice back to you then fuck them ok.

     

    Oh and also

     

    IF PEOPLE DONT LIKE YOU - YOU GET VOTEKICKED - GET SCOLDED - "EH CB WHY YOU DO THIS STUPID PANTAT NOBO!!!!!!!!!!"

     

    They're probably doing it for a reason, so don't give them something to dislike you for. (or at least work on your attitute/gameplay whatsoever so they can't rain hell fire onto you, which is what i had in mind after my first pug)

     

    TL;DR - i'm really grateful to those that helped my team and I, seeing veterans help the newer, less experienced players give me a happy erection. But some people are just obnoxious and huge assholes so just ignore/ban them lor. Good vibes means good things.

    mykonos For some reason, you play a really passive game. You main soldier. There's nothing that's particularly impressive or stands out when I/we watch you play and it's because of your passive, deer-in-the-field gameplay. You need to be more aggressive in your game style to improve your DM. Remember, there's no such thing as a wrong decision if you learn from it. You can't have an impact if you don't try - and 99% of the stuff you do or don't do isn't a 'risk'. It's a decision you must make based on advantage/disadvantage. Play to advantages and you will be out of your comfort zone and will improve. 6.8/10

    Hahaha thanks for the tips guys, a clockwork orange was a really hard read for me, still a great great book.

     

    Was playing in a foundry pub recently with a friend, met a really chill medic which promptly added me after a few rounds and asked me to join him in a pug later on, really cool, told me he would inform me if there was any pugs going on and i also managed to get more insights on how pugs are usually formed (he said he would go into MGE servers and round everyone up hahaha)

    I've managed to get into a few pug sessions due to a friend who knew a friend, loved it.
