joe 76 Report post Posted January 25, 2013 After a highly successful season last year, United Gaming Clans is back for its 9th Highlander season. As of current writing, there are already 29 teams that have signed up for the Asian division of UGC Highlander Season 9! Fret not if you have not yet signed up - official registrations close on the 3rd of February, and all teams have to be ready to rumble by the 5th of February! Also, all team name and clan tag changes are allowed till the 29th of January. You must be wondering why there banner above shows 'Week 2' with koth_lakeside being the map, and that is because it is a preseason match. By playing in a preseason match, you will get preferential scheduling for the second week of the regular season. Note: Preseason matches do not count towards the team's regular season record. Here is the official statement from UGC. Our Match Schedules for Preseason Week 1 Match will be posted on Wednesday and Thursday this week. All teams who are set to "ready" or Green, will be scheduled. Remember that win/loss results are posted for preseason matches, but they do not count on a team's regular season 9 record. Teams who do play preseason will get preferential scheduling in week 2 (Regular Season Match 1). For Season 9 teams will need to complete 6 of the 8 regular season matches to qualify for playoffs.
