just an honest opinion/comment about the current admins wrt AF-TF2

Many players have been supporting this community by participating in events kindly organised by the admins. I know it gets a little 

messy and hectic for the admins when organising such events but could we please have the basic procedures back such as 

• following up on the current event such as which teams are winning/ simple write ups 
• posting results on the front page
• receiving the prizes that we were promised (since many seasons ago)
• efficiency in posting of schedule

Also, have heard stuff about people getting banned. 

@spammah, I just need to clarify something. If you have been stating that you aren't an AF admin, why have you banned/are banning players?

On a side note, some improvements to be done would probably include simulating a 6v6 scrim (sitting 12 players down and playing a scrim) to check for any server/PC related technical issues that may arise during the actual match. For example, I had severe hit registration issues that surfaced only when our team was playing our 3rd map (before that it was relatively tolerable), probably due to a server overload. The ctrl (crouch) and spacebar (jump) keys also couldn't be used simultaneously and even Saki couldn't identify the problem, so I just had to play with it as I didn't want to extend the preparation time when we were all already so behind schedule. These problems severely affected my gameplay, the former my aim/dmg output, the latter my movement.

I'm sure I speak for most scout players when I say that I was honestly quite frustrated when my shots that were supposed to deal 80-102 dmg ended up as mere sparks bouncing off my opponent, only to have him kill me. The hitreg problems were eventually solved when it became apparent that more and more scout players were having this problem (during the coy vs sharkbait match map 2), but I still do feel this issue could have been addressed and dealt with even before the LAN.

I don't think its right to brush off puzzled's efforts and say that he wasn't doing his job well. I could easily say the same to you as well. when we were out of casters, were you the one running around finding them? you wanted to be in charge of onsite casting... do your job - honestly speaking, finding people to volunteer for casting during LAN is not as difficult as casting for 11 maps straight without a good long break in between. Puzzled held the mic and spoke continuously for approx 5 hours or more and its not easy to cast considering the STV director just changes POV without warning. At least applaud him for his efforts rather than say that he "sat around and did nothing". You can't expect him to cast for all the games (and if he can't, say that he abandoned his post) and immediately prepare for his own matches, that's just mean.

Lastly a big thank you to everyone else who offered to help during the event-Cutieman cleric, Bait <even tho u shy u did it! for casting; fishee <for helping me when I was tired doing the stv directing; Gene for supporting Rze all the way (Die desmond die!!) And others (sorry if I missed out any names).


I think the one who persevered the most is actually Spiky Cactus who played Osu! from 11am to 2am and Tetris from 2am to 3am. /claps
