5 potatooooo!! What about the varinn and hunter? Do they get potato also? -
I think ultiduo loss its appeal so it was removed? But we don't want the admins' hard work to go to waste so we should find out if AF wants ultiduo before having admins implement it and realise that no one wants to play it.

1. DID YOU HAVE FUN? Definitely. 2. What was the most enjoyable and worst part about the entire mash? Most enjoyable part was playing TF2 :> Most agonizing part was getting rolled by blatantly uneven team(s) :< 3. What did you learn from our mentors? More than I have in the past week. 4. Do you think you improved as a player today? I think my team as a whole has improve tremendously. 5. What did you like / dislike about your team? Mainly all positive. Nice and helpful mentors and a team who is willing to learn. 6. How can the mash format be improved? Balance subs please. 7. Any vets/newbs that you’d like to shoutout to? Rufus and hunter for being good and helpful by carrying our team. Omega for being a degroot master. Floaty for killing stuff well and Varinn for knowing how to click on heads. Best Mentor: Rufus Best Team:Rage a lot (Team RR) Most OP subs Team: That team. You know, THAT team. Biggest Carry:Rufus MVP of Your Team:Rufus Best Player:TJ Best Demo:Rufus Best Soldier:TJ Best Scout: Idk lol Best Medic:Omega4ubersawz Best Map:cp_snakewater Other Comments:Thanks shounic for this event!

our very own spectator hud for casting
blurr replied to Bob's topic in Suggestions, Feedback & Contributions
Maybe an AF logo? VanillaTV's spectator HUD has their logo in a bunch of different places. -
I can't edit for some reason so I'll post another one Seems like many AF streams haven't been going very strong, hopefully this will be different. The only steady channel I see is Creep's when he plays in scrim, and he will have about 10+ viewers. But the stream is laggy for me so I seldom watch it.

Teams seem reasonably balanced (Good Job team pickers). But I'll go with team rage a lot cause the name is div 1.

I think it was 25% of game, basically 8 minutes, but that's close enough shounic

A Very Serious Community Decision
blurr replied to Morgan's topic in Suggestions, Feedback & Contributions
Pretty sure everyone can relate to the offclassing problem :< But the mash potato story was quite a good read and was a lot less heavy than some other posts -
There will be an announcement to say that sign ups are open. Then, there will probably a link to the registration post.

A Very Serious Community Decision
blurr replied to Morgan's topic in Suggestions, Feedback & Contributions
I think many newer players (Not all) don't feel connected to AF, or feel that this is just a service that we can use. One of my close friends who also plays 6v6 told me that he feels the community as a whole is not needed. This is definitely not true. If we can get people to go for the events then maybe they can see that there IS a community, not just individuals playing the same game with little to no connection between one another. Looks like only time will tell if Morgan's post makes an impact. Next event will probably be the Alienware Arena Lan Event, http://asiafortress.com/index.php/index.html/_/news/180114-save-the-date-r132 unless I'm mistaken. -
I'm currently using the IME 3.0. It's great for me cause I'm a low sense player (15 inch/360). Really great mouse that's larger and heavier than average mice. Only complain I have about this mouse is that it is a bit flimsy (Slam your mouse hard on the front end and uncloak/remove your disguise) especially on the side buttons and is completely plastic (Still solid). But a great mouse overall if you play on a low sense.

Question MGE: Why are some plays allowed and others not?
blurr posted a topic in AsiaFortress Academy
I personally find that my play style is mainly based around countering the enemy's initiation, and not initiating myself unless I am forced to. In MGE, I find myself counter-jumping a lot and using melee weapons. When I use such tactics, the enemy would start telling me to stop melee-ing or counter-jumping them. If they wanna practice pipes, and don't want me to use stickies, that's understandable, but if they are forcing me to stop utilizing my play style, it's impossible to win, or even come close. What I'd like to know is, why counter-jumping is not allowed and should I even be listening to them???? Thank you in advance.
