Anyone using m0re cfg please help

yesterday my tf2 was working fine

then today i booted up my comp

started tf2

and then i joined a server

then boom

my tf2 froze and then

got weird sound repeating bug

pls halp

uninstalling the tf2 works but once i installed back m0re cfg got the same problem

anyone having the same problem?

yeah its not, I clean installed tf2 it works,

then i put in the cfg it doesnt work

i remove all my commands still the same

I am testing each command in the cfg

apparently it is one of the commands in the R_ section but i havent found which one exactly

After testing each and single command on m0re's config I found the problem for me,

 

on the 164th to 166th line there is three commands

r_threaded_client_shadow_manager "1"

r_threaded_particles "1"

r_threaded_renderables "1"

 

once I deleted or disable them my tf2 got back to working again :idea::idea::idea::idea::idea::idea:

remove all commands starting with r_threaded and r_thread from your config.This fixed the problem for me.

 

Edit-never mind u already did that.valve really should tell us what commands are redundant in the patch notes

actually no it doesnt.

im using m0re's highfpscfg and i get 200+ fps and 120+ fps in mid battles.

When i tried chris fps cfg , my fps was capped at 117 fps.

There's a comparison on the etf2l website of Chris' cfg and m0res. You're using m0res highfps, try chris' moreframes or maxframes, both of them give higher fps than m0res highfps.

it used to decrease to 70-80 in mid battles, so whats the point of fps_max.
