ribs 0 Report post Posted November 9, 2014 Hello everyone, I'm rather new to the asiafortress academy and would like to find out more about and get into the competitive tf2 (pubs are fun, but they get boring :c). I've almost got around 1000 hours on tf2, but still have no (maybe a little? idek) competitive knowledge as the only servers I play on are pubs. I have never played in a pug before, let alone a proper competitive match. I would really appreciate any guidance/help from you guys. I've seen suggestions that I should start with pugs and lobbies. I know about tf2center but from what I remember, that's mainly for those NA/European players, could barely find any Asia servers/players on there.

ribs 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2014 I've gone over some of the guides. Regarding the pugs, most of them are password protected so I can't join them. Also, I've set up mumble but the details seem to be incorrect as I can't seem to join, it asks for like a certificate or something.
SakiIsa 94 Report post Posted November 23, 2014 For the certificate, simply continue with yes and the mumble will function as normal. For the pug servers, all servers besides server 4 require a pug group application to be allowed. Other then that all servers have the password publicly known as "aflmatch". Hope this answers some questions =]
ribs 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2014 So it's saying server presented a certificate which failed verification and asks "do you wish to accept this certificate anyway?", I choose yes?
