why i got banned: battle medic

why i should be unbanned: So I was in mumble with the of whole of my team besides sq and seeing as we would be able to clearly win the game from the start (end game score 5-0) i decided to play around a bit, and use my needles/ubersaw more often. sq found this a annoying but gave no notice for me to stop. Through his annoyance he ended up reporting me mid game. I still gave quite a lot of heals, but i understand why i have been banned. I am sorry for my actions, and will be more considerate of other players.

 

Doesn't matter if your team is getting winning or losing 5-0; we expect players to fullfil their class roles in a serious fashion. Additionally, you've been banned for off-classing(among other things) a couple of times prior to this, so you're expected to be genuinely attempting to improve your image and reputation as a player. Going battle medic and off-classing to spy as medic shows a complete lack of respect for your opponents and disregard for our PuG rules.

 

Your ban has been reduced to two weeks. Future bans for you will get exponentially longer, so maybe try avoid getting banned in the first place.

why you should be unbanned: As a veteran, i don't think i should be encouraging offclassing in pugs. I am sorry for doing that i will do my utmost best to not offclass in future pugs, with the mindset of making pugs a more enjoyable place for everyone.

Why I got banned: Unnecessary Offclassing

 

Why I should be unbanned: I apologize for my excessive and unnecessary offclassing, I just felt that it was needed for me to offclass to the sniper class because mel/two was dominating our team as a sniper and I thought that it was kind of unfair. I am sorry for this unnecessary actions and I will not unnecessarily offclass ever again. I have re-read the PUG guides and rules, I hope you can reconsider my ban and hopefully reduce the ban length.

 

Also adding into that, next time a warning would be nice and not an instantaneous ban, and I am speaking for the other people who has been banned for other reasons and was banned without an a warning.

Off-classing bans reduced to one week.

 

And for future reference, off-classing 20+ minutes of sniper should be obviously against the rules to the off-classer in question regardless of whether or not there's an admin around to warn. If someone reports off-classing and we check the logs and you've broken the new rules, you get the ban.

Why I should be unbanned: First off I apologise for the unnecessary offclassing as it ruins the fun for other players. Second of all, I would like to state that i understand that going sniper for longer than designated time is against the rules and i apologise for my misbehaviour.I have re-read the rules and will not encourage nor unnecessary offclass again.

why you should be unbanned: I am genuinely sorry for the insensitive statement I had made the other day, it was uncalled for and unnecessary but because I was caught up in the heat of the moment with the config not working, I said what I said out of anger and I apologise for it. I have truly learnt my lesson and will definitely remember to think twice before typing something out online. AFL is a place which has helped me grow a lot, tf2 wise, being banned from afl would mean I can no longer pug and practice, please consider removing/reducing my ban, I know I have been disrespectful and will work on my temper too.

Our servers require you to join a steam group before entering so we don't get absolute newcomers to the game and being utterly confused! For future reference, we permaban anything by default, and an appeal is needed before we reduce the bans. Considering it's your first mistake I will reduce it to one day.
