Well, at least you've done a thorough troubleshoot on your own.

I recall having the VAC error message when trying to connect to servers at some point, but I can't remember what I did to fix it, or if I actually did anything to fix it.

I'd recommend posting this topic on the TF2/General Steam forums.

Hmm, I would have suggested to reinstall tf2 but since you've already done that and you cannot connect to friends maybe VAC has blocked your ID or something. Have you tried logging in on another PC with the same ID to see if the problem persists?

Hmm..... Nope.

I got no other PC, and none of my freinds are on steam :/

Can You Please Suggest Something Else That might fix my problem?

Cheers,

Trajec

sounds like a issue with your router/pc

did you disable your antivirus by disabling its processes

if you want to take a extreme shot at fixing, call your isp, have them reset your router (warning, you need to spend a long time reconfiguring) or reset your router yourself, this MIGHT or MIGHT NOT WORK

the reinstalling of steam, was it a clean reinstall or a simple reinstall, these things matter

if both reset router/ reformat pc failed, that means this is not a virus/software/gcf fragmentation/network issue

server issue perhaps? but thats impossible to figure out

if you're religious try praying...... the vac error seems to fix itself after some time, like it did with plenty of people before you, me even, although all i did was restart steam o_o

you can try spamming steam support, i'm sure they'll reply soon enough

dont forget to attach a msinfo32 report

last suggestion

switch router to DMZ mode, if that cant fix it, then god help you
