I thank all team who had tried their best in arranging their matches, and also having good sportsmanship in their matches. I hope that teams who did not qualify do not give up scrimming and attempt to improve more upon their own gameplay. I'm pretty sure the scrim level has increased some what and all the teams are interested in playing much better. I hope to see you guys more in the coming year!

Now to more important information, the playoffs are scheduled to run on the 6th-8th January 2012 starting from 1930 - 2330~HR GMT +8. I hope that all teams are able to make it for the playoffs. I will only consider re-scheduling provided that at least 2 teams cannot make the timings. I've already released the dateline during November, so personally I do not see why teams cannot attend the play offs.

The playoffs will be a Best of 3 Format, so the first team to get 2 map wins out of 3 will win. If the tie breaker map is played and ends with a tie, the golden cap rule will be in place. Map choice system is similiar to what has been done in the League play, but this time with a tie breaker in place. Match arrangement threads will be up sometime this week, so please arrange your servers and maps once its up. Teams are adviced to use their previous match experience to select the right servers in quick time. Please note the tight timings between matches during the playoffs, so please arrange your matches fast after your matches end.

 

If any of the teams have problems/queries/whatsoever, please kindly post them ASAP. I do not have the time to wait on you all.

 

Last but not least, we have entered the Christmas/New Year holiday break, and since I personally won't be around till after the New Year, on behalf of the AsiaFortress Staff, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2012.
