What do you mean 'even ozfortress is more active'? Its always been a very happening/active community.

ozfortress has close to 1000 active players across all the leagues, this place has about 20

when there are enough stable teams

Not trying to be a sad little negative bastard' date=' but I don't think there will ever be [b']enough[/b] stable teams to run a tournament with 2 divisions. People just make teams for competitions, and if a good prize pot is present (like the f4v) you will see many people joining.

Im also considering cutting maximum roster size to 8 or 9.

Teams used to horde players, which means less teams for the same number of players signed up. This will release more players for more teams. No more using scheduling issues as an excuse for needing more players. You have plenty of time to plan.

This should also encourage stability in teams.

That will only harm the tournament, it will become into asiaforfeitress like the first AFL. Having a roster of 9 just means that there won't be enough players for matches, don't think it will encourage stabilility either, as people will constantly be requiring subs and stuff. IMO if you want to get a really good tournament, the f4v is an ideal setup. If you can communicate with the koreans, taiwaneese and japanese, you will recieve a large no. of teams, enough to run around 2-3 divisions. It's the communication gap that hurts your community.

ITT: We post what we already know- ad nauseam, quote it a few more times for good measure, then grow strangely quiet when responsibilities are to be assumed.

Well no one is really helping with the translations. I needed help translating the rules to chinese japanese and korean. xeon kinda dissapeared so the graphics works are not done. anyone wanna help chip in with efforts?

or are we all gonna just sit here and talk about it.

i've already gotten the rules up. just need translations.

servers are not standardized yet:

aside from the starhub/eclub servers not having all the maps, garena is not consistently updated and is full of clutter plugins, bfx and extremeserver have some clutter message spams messages.

you only need 6 for a match. and 3 subs just in case. needing any more means you have organizing issues.

because every stable team from ozf, esea, etf2l has 20 players in their roster just so they won't need substitutes for their matches.

It's funny how teams want to be treated with a little more professionalism and respect yet need to pack a roster with 9+ players for some attempt of "stability" and "organisation", yet so often those rosters continually remake with the same players or players of similar attitude.

The cycle repeats again and again (admins don't care, admins that do get swamped, admins cannot be around to deal with a real shitfest, all the while the playerbase exacerbates the issue) and as it repeats more and more people care less and less.

On a different topic stop accusing Masterful/Coldblood of hacking, and stop taking a shit on him when you kill him. Stop complaining just because you get killed by a better player
