the last time i played in the face servers, the server's fps was capped at 64 fps. if that isn't fixed, then those servers are deemed incompatible for competitive play.

 

by the way i have a friend that has a 30mbps uplink bandwidth to host a relay with up to 200slots or more. contact me if you believe your match will have many spectators.

I just hop in those servers, definitely no where near 400fps but it's fairly around 200++fps. Ozfortress teams wouldn't even scrim on server's with 256fps since their match server's has 900fps but considering the asian scene isn't really bothered so I think it should be fine.

Interesting food for thought. Please check with face/makuju etc. to test their servers thoroughly for higher optimizations. If nothing else can be done, we'll just roll with those servers.

hm.. i think i could manage to get a Indian server. I will ask the GZ admin since we already have a Indian tf2 server but its of no use with some bugs. If someone helps him out with the server managing... we can get that server to the list.

Yes sam. Please do that. It doesn't take much effort to install CFGs and the required maps. All you need to do is spend an hour or so testing the server FPS and performance.

Here is a pro tip. Whoever owns a server and has hardware access to it or you can get a technician to do it for you,

1. boot into you motherboard's bios

2. enable HPET (high precision event timer)

3. edit your bat/start files and type this +fps_max 1000

ah cuz i limited it bout 250fps now, i can unlimit it whenever

i have acquired a 128 slot sourcetv relay.

 

what this means is, i can connect this relay to any server with sourcetv.

 

if you play on a server with insufficient slots or dont have the permission to record a sourcetv demo, you can use the relay to do so.

 

just let me know before hand.
