So hi there! I have finished my register on this site recently, this is my first post. I'm kind of bored of playing pubs, and I love challenging, PUGs are quiet a challenge, so I would like to join PUGs, thought I only have 500 hours of playing, I'm not mature enough to play PUGs, but I still wanted to get the frag. I know all the rules of TF2, I know how to play, I'm not F2P, but I just couldn't be more pro, I'm bored to stay there, so I want to make the first step, this is another reason I wanted to join PUGs. In the meantime I will be practicing in MGE and play as soldier and demo, I can't barely airshot unless I'm playing in local server, otherwise most of the time I will be missing the shot or get it really close due to the lag compensation. I should be online all the time, you could add me as a friend, thought I have a VAC ban of CSGO that in fact I was hacking my CSGO in my minor account with Cheat Engine, I accidentally shared the CSGO copy of my major account(I should buy a copy instead), and boom, I was VAC'd instantly in the major three months ago(CSGO only). Nevertheless, now I have two major account and I was switching frequently as I still would like to play the damn banned game. Help... No matter how much I try, I can't find any good places to play Highlander, 6v6, etc.. All the servers I get are public. Come over show your cosmetics, strange and/or shiny kill-streak weapons and meet up with all the local Team Fortress 2 players. Say hi, share all the joy and laughter or just mingle around and get to know all the players in the community. Date: 31st August 2014 Time: 11am - 7pm Venue: Orange eSports Stadium Setapak Registration Fees: RM 10 A minimum of 36 players is needed to join this event. The registration fee is RM 10 split into two parts, va down payment of RM 5 to be made before the registration closing date and the remainder RM 5 to be paid on the spot. However, you will not be paying for nothing! If you come over for this event, sign in your name and sign out; you will receive TWO in-game keys FOR FREE! That's right! FREE! Just come over register yourself, play for fun and get two Team Fortress 2 keys for free by just having fun with us! For you to be entitled to get the keys all you have to do is come to the event, pay the registration fees of RM10, sign in your registered name and steam profile and sign out. The next day our organizers will send you a trade offer or add you to trade the keys. It's THAT simple! The maximum number of player isn't really set yet. The more players who can attend the merrier this event will be. However, 3 days before the event (on 28th August), we will be closing registration. If there isn't any extra we will leave it as 36 players. So invite friends, share with others and spread the news. The more players the better! The first will be a pub session. This is where all the participants who attend will be pitted against each other in Team Fortress 2's most famous public server maps such as 2Fort, Dustbowl, Goldrush and the last map will be based on voting. Stacking? There will be no such thing as we will be scrambling the teams as soon as there are enough players on each side. The second event will consist of a highlander mix. The map will be Badwater. All 36 players (if there are more we will accommodate) will be divided to 4 teams and we will pit them against each other in a round robin. For this highlander mix, there is no best of 3 or double elimination format. All team will go against each other. On the other hand, prizes will not be given to the team with most wins. This event focuses more about exposure and introducing a competitive aspect to newer players and/or players that haven't considered playing competitive before. Etiquette/rules There will be kids at the location, some not necessarily playing TF2. I want no cussing, loud mouthing, bullying, etc. As a hat based community I expect all of you to be on your best fun loving behaviour aight? Please dress appropriately. This means no profanities on clothes and no skimpy clothing (there are children for christ’s sake). Other than that, feel free to wear whatever you like. No alcohol drinks are allowed in this event as we do have Muslims and underage children attending/ at the event. Respect each others religion please. NO smoking in the vicinity of the premises. We expect the Team Fortress 2 community to be responsible people in the eyes of the general public. This means disposing of your own rubbish as well as general behavior. Although there are eateries in the area we would appreciate it if you can refrain from littering to give our community a better impression I would appreciate it very much! You do not touch the PCs of other players without permission. Ask before you use. Spectators are free to wander around the entire Orange as long as they are responsible for any children they have brought. The organizers will NOT be held responsible for any missing children. Please be aware that there is a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament occurring at the same time as this one so please respect the contestants. You may cheer and show your support for them but do NOT, I repeat, do NOT distract the contestants. Items which you want signed need to be provided. We are not running a charity. Respect all players equally regardless of their age or gender Respect the organizers as well as any decisions they have to make. Food There are several places you can head to for lunch. However, please note that food and drinks are not provided and all attendees are advised to bring enough money to cover any and all expenses they may incur. AsiaFortress Highlander Mixes 2 Week #1 Please read all the rules carefully before signing up. Failure to comply will result in either a warning or a week's ban from future Highlander mixes. Date: Friday, 10/1/2014 Start Time: 8:00 PM GMT+8 (Be in server and Mumble by 7:45 PM GMT+8) End Time: 9:30 PM GMT+8 (estimation) Map 1 (UGC): pl_barnblitz_pro4 Map 2 (Player Vote): koth_arctic / cp_snakewater / cp_yukon Players will be assigned to either RED or BLU team by the staff in charge, and players will be informed of their team before the game starts. No requests for team changes will be entertained, unless there is a compelling reason brought forth. Teams may be re-balanced between maps if there is a blatant imbalance between the two teams. This post is for registration only. If you wish to discuss AFHL Mixes 2 or provide feedback, you may do so here 1. Registration Players are to fully complete the following form in order to participate in the mix: Name: Desired Class: Steam Profile URL: Incomplete or improperly completed forms (e.g. entering more than one Desired Class) will be considered invalid and ignored. Players are not allowed to sign up for anyone else (e.g. "I'm signing up for a friend"). Such submissions will be ignored. Classes will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Please check the thread before registering to ensure that you are not signing up for a class already taken as this post may not be up-to-date. In the event someone else has already taken a class that you want, ask politely if they wish to play a different class. If successful, please update the thread with your updated classes immediately. 2. Availability and Attendance Players are expected to fully ensure that they are available for the day and time listed before registering. Players are to be in Mumble and the server at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Failure to obtain a substitute player, being late or not showing up will result in penalties as detailed in Section 3 below. Mumble is mandatory, and players who are not in Mumble will not be considered as "showing up" even if they are in the server. Sub requests posted anywhere other than the forums (e.g. "I told an admin through Steam chat!") will also not be accepted. 3. Offenses and Penalties Players who do not turn up at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time and have not obtained a substitute 1 hour before the mix will be considered Latecomers. Latecomers will be given 1 warning for each time that they are late. Latecomers will be allowed to take back their player slot if they are not considered a No-Show. Players who do not show up or turn up after the scheduled time without getting a substitute at least 1 hour before the mix will be considered No-Shows. No-Shows will be given a 1 week ban from the next Highlander mix. Players considered No-Shows will not be allowed to take back their slot when a substitute player has already filled in for them. Players who grief, troll or have a bad and uncooperative attitude will be given 1 warning for each time they ignore an admin or moderator's requests for them to stop their disruptive behaviour. Admins or moderators may swap out the offending player for a substitute between maps or by calling for a pause mid-game in the case of a particularly disruptive player. A 1 week ban will be imposed when a player has accumulated 3 warnings. Repeated breaching of rules will result in harsher penalties imposed. Thank you for reading the rules. Good luck, and have fun!
